Fans want to see incredible sports performance which is beyond normal human abilities. They want the magic of the fantasy of superhero abilities playing out in front of them. It's a distraction and dream come to life made possible by performance-enhancing substances. Pro athletes use them. Great! Give the public the entertainment they want and need to cheer. Gene doping should be done to continue the evolution of sports. The IOC and Wada crap is a bunch of pretended ethics and superficial preaching to outdated thinking ignoring what the public wants. If athletes decide to live the life there are consequences. Let them go forth.
