Fantastic story. I agree with you Mr. King is much more than a horror writer. He's one of my favorites. He's influenced me since I was about 11. I think that is when I saw the Shining, not long after it came out. Of course Christine and Creep Show hooked me in the early 80's too. Firestarter too. The list goes on. Then I started reading them.
