I take a bit of umbrage with your premise there is no value with any short form on Medium. At Everything Shortform I have written several micro fiction series and meaningful political stories. Many writers have contributed breaking news stories and commentary. I think if you don't want to read it, then don't. Whining about it is pathetic. But, the fart joke is funny and you have your right to an opinion.
