I think you’re right about why other attempts have failed. Perhaps with interest coming from Medium writers, we could overcome. Even the technical writers on Medium like to be creative sometimes. My hope is to draw from the Medium crowd. Facebook groups could spur the initial interest.

I think linking writing opportunities outside of MuseCraft could be an essential aspect of the site. Showing opps interacting with sites like www.freedomwithwriting.com could be attractive.
