A tribute to Green.

How should I count the ways of Green?

Life blooming in a field springing dreams.

Gathering fillings providing our needs.

Lovely and wonderful cushions of rest.
We suckle at your behest.

You eat the sun and give us food.
Air we breathe is because of you.

Green, Green, fill my eyes.

Dazzle, grow, expand, arise.

You color even thoughts on the mend in splashing seas so vast and without end.

I’m green around the gills,

I’m envious of green layered on my chocolate thrills.

I’m green in understanding still.

So much to learn, to preserve, and cherish of you Green.

Your richness shines dirty and clean.

Green swallows of delight give new sight to behold your sublime honored right.

It’s Green we seek and we must have.
A dash here and there will make any display less drab.
So I say we give a bow of honor to thee.

Precious color, our treasure Green.

Bringing real feelings along with messages of inspiration and imagination to life. Awakening is the symptom of my infectious condition. Poetry is my condition.
