Well said and thoroughly thought through. I use the Hemmingway app to check my writing. Isn't that a form of AI? And I bet most every writer now uses an online SaaS to check their writing. But they might not equate that with "cheating" but still criticize the utilization of AI writing.

AI has been around and in our lives in one form or another since, I believe, 1965. Just now it's tech progress is much more advanced and faster. People are afraid of progress and change. It can be our failure to adapt at the rate of progress or to be aware and informed about it.
